Once Upon A Time...

Kimberlee's Version: Of course I was running late (as usual) to a birthday party and missed it. On my way home I received a call to meet another friend for drinks.  When I walked in DJ Bump (Mark's brother) was on the 1's and 2's. As I moved my body on the dance floor, I noticed Mark trying to do his 2-step. I politely danced around him! LOL!! He asked my name and if I was thirsty. Of course I was bougie and said, "water, please!" We had great conversation that night; I did not want to leave. However, I had a "hot" fish plate in the car awaiting my attention. :-) We talked non-stop for weeks after meeting and the rest is history. On September 16, 2019, at dinner with our kids and Donovan Mark asked for my hand in marriage! I am forever grateful to God for blessing me with this amazing man!! This is how #WalkerKimistry was established. Mark's version: My brother DJ Bump was DJing at a party and asked me to pass through after I finished my DJing event. Cool as a fan, I was on the dance floor when I noticed this beautiful woman walk through the door with her friend. As she started moving close to the dance floor I knew I had to make my move. I started dancing with her and after the song finished I walked her to the bar and asked if she wanted a drink. To my surprise she asked for water, so I decided to play along. We sat down and hit it off instantly while in what I thought was a deep conversation she said she had to leave. I knew at that moment I had to get her number. As the gentleman I am, I walked her to her car. I called her later that night to make sure she made it home safely. After that night we had conversations all day and every day!!!!! Three months after we met I told Kimberlee she was going to be my wife... of course he laughed and said "MARRKKk, whatever". On September 16, 2019 I asked for her hand in marriage in the presence of our kids and my brother. Kimberlee was and still is my fresh breath of air. I cannot wait to make her Mrs. Kimberlee Walker!!
