We’re getting married!

In a world full of noise, we found each other. A love that's deep, magnetic, and unapologetically ours. Our story started with each of us deciding to leave decade-old relationships in 2024. These decisions were not made easily, but were necessary. In leaving those relationship we realized that we were both missing, and yearning for, our special person. With some gentle pushes from family (and a lot of courage), both of us dove headfirst into the wild world of online dating! Through nothing short of a miracle we matched on Bumble in September and hit it off immediately with no signs of slowing down in sight; only to eventually discover the distance between us was much bigger than we thought! This would have been a problem, but within a week of matching hurricane Helene hit Asheville! This brought Mark down to Raleigh where Kay lived. That sounds like fate to me. From that point on we were seeing each other twice a week, and by December we were very much in love. We had our first Christmas and quickly moved in. Together every day, our new normal became something we learned we could never live without. In March 2024 we first discussed getting married and promised each other it would happen within a year. 11 months later and we are keeping our promise. It seems like our love has always been waiting for us to find it. Now that we have it, we are never letting go.
