For those of you coming from out of town, Seattle is served by Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac) and smaller, less convenient Paine Field in Everett. There is also Amtrak service to King Street Station in Downtown Seattle.
Alaska Airlines and Delta have the most flights and are usually the most convenient carriers.
Mercer Island does not have any hotels, but Bellevue and Seattle both provide easy access. Recommended hotels include: Bellevue Hilton, Embassy Suites Bellevue and Hotel Sorrento in Seattle.
