They met in May of 2019. Marie was an Intern and Mark was the first person who greeted her and oriented her to the new surroundings. Only a weeks time passed and Marie realized how much she loved being in Marks presence, hearing his laugh and seeing his smile. Soon, other coworkers noticed their spark and helped to bring the two together. Their first date occurred on February 1st, 2020 after months of texting and working together. It wasn't until Marks graduation from Fire Academy that he finally asked Marie to officially be his girlfriend on June 7, 2020. They grew together as a couple and their love continued to grow stronger and stronger. Marie realized that this was the one, this was the man she was someday going to marry and with that, she took Mark somewhere no previous significant other had been before, down to Arizona to meet her family in December 2022. Marie always kept true to her word that she would never bring a significant other down to meet her family in AZ unless it was the person she was going to marry. After that, they took a bigger step and decided to move in together in early January 2023, and what a wonderful life it has continued to be. Their love continued to grow and only strengthen as they learned how to live with each other. By December 2023 Marie had graduated nursing school and Mark suprised her and took her to her dream place, the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland. It was Marks first time and he ended up enjoying the trip very much. The very next month, Mark asked Marie out on a date, but this was a very special and different date. He proposed to her, and asked her to recreate their first date with him but not as boyfriend and girlfriend but as his fiancé! The very start to their Happily Ever After.
