Proposal

Mt. Washington

Well lets just say its been a long journey. But the journey will continue with us both saying our vows to promise to love, support, and care for each other from this day forward. It started a few years back with a motorcycle ride alone to Mt. Washington, a soul searching ride after a few bumps in the road. This ride took place on August 21. The ride was amazing but may not have happened without a phone call from Holly that morning. I woke that morning to her phone call asking if i was all packed. I told her i was having second thoughts as I had never taken a lone ride or trip for that matter. She told me get up shower, pack and I will see you at the Dunkin for a coffee. Well I did just that. The ride was one i will never forget and again may not have happened if not for Holly. Always supportive!! Well upon return our relationship took off with many special memories made and a bond that was stronger then ever. Well it was over the next coulple years I knew I wanted to be with her for the rest if my life. So August 21, 2020 we set out for a trip with Hunter and Connor and Holly, with the plan of asking her to marry me. We made the long drive, got to the top of Mt. Washington with the intent to ask her. Well the weather wasn’t having it. Strong winds 40 degree temprature, and the thought of me shaking and dropping her ring I decided to head down the mountain and stopped at a spot just below the cloud line. We stopped as we did a few times along the trek to take photos and on this one stop the time was right. With the help from Hunter who was of assistance to the plan, looking as if he was taking our photo but he was actually videotaping as I dropped to my knee and popping the question. Suprised beyond words and a reaponse from her “ YES”. Well it will be August 21, 2021 that we will set out for the rest of our journey that won’t end!
