We can't say “I DO” without you!

Mark and Heather were set up on a blind date by two mutual friends. Mark made a strategically timed phone call to ask Heather out on their first date. Their first evening out was at City Grill in Downtown Wausau two weeks before Christmas. When Mark gave Heather an electric toothbrush as an unexpected Christmas gift, she knew she'd found the love of her life!! Another of their early dates was taking Mark's family dog, Dela for a walk at the Dells of the Eau Claire River, where they would return later for a surprise engagement. Prior to their engagement, they traveled to Dallas, San Diego, Las Vegas, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Door County and Belize. It's been fun for their love to grow on their adventures and they look forward to a lifetime of globetrotting.

Mark and Heather had just returned from a weekend trip to Las Vegas. Mark had planned for them to take Mark’s dog, Dela, for a walk at a scenic spot at the Dells of Eau Claire where they had coincidently been on one of their first dates. About 30 minutes into their hike, Mark got down on one knee. Much to Heather’s surprise, her parents, Mark’s parents and his brother’s family were all waiting at a lookout point to witness the entire thing. The whole engagement was also captured with a drone! The day was truly magical! ❤️

The newlyweds plan to spend their first married summer at home in Wisconsin. In January of 2020, they’re headed to the Patagonia region of South America to see the Chilean fjords and taste wine from Argentina.
