It all started in 2018, when they met through mutual friends. Mark, ever the gentleman, bought Gaby a beer—since she wasn’t 21 yet and couldn’t get one herself. A year later, fate (and another bar crawl) brought them together again... and yes, Mark bought her another beer. Though they didn’t keep in touch, their paths crossed again in 2021 in the most unexpected way—Gaby unknowingly walked into Mark’s house while hanging out with a mutual friend. That night sparked something different. They exchanged numbers, and from that point on, they couldn’t stop talking. Just a month later, they took a spontaneous trip to San Diego, where Mark asked Gaby to be his girlfriend. From there, everything just clicked. They moved in together later that year and have been growing, traveling, and creating memories ever since. In 2025, they returned to San Diego—this time, with an even bigger question. On that meaningful trip, Mark asked Gaby to be his fiancée. (Spoiler: she said yes!)
