What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. This will allow plenty of time for valet parking, finding your seat, and settling in before we say “I do.”

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be an outdoor December celebration under the banyan trees of Southwest Florida, followed by an evening reception filled with candlelight, citrus, greenery, and old Florida charm. We kindly request formal attire and invite guests to embrace the warm, romantic colors of the season. Think sage and forest greens, terracotta, wine and burgundy, champagne, soft golds, and other earthy, garden-inspired tones. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel beautiful, comfortable, and ready to celebrate!

What is Southwest Florida weather like in December?

Answer

December is one of our favorite times of year in Southwest Florida. Days are typically warm and sunny, with temperatures in the 70s, while evenings can be pleasantly cool. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for the evening, especially if you’re planning to stay out after the reception. While rain is uncommon in December, Florida likes to keep us on our toes—so we recommend checking the forecast before traveling.

Can I bring a plus one?

Our wedding is strictly by invitation only. If you have a plus one indicated on your formal invitation, then you are welcome to bring a plus one! Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate other extra guests due to venue capacity.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We adore little ones and are delighted to welcome them to our celebration. That said, we completely understand if you’d prefer a night out and choose to leave them at home.

What if I don’t RSVP?

Answer

To help us finalize seating, catering, and all the little details that make the day special, we kindly ask that you RSVP by the date listed on your invitation. If you’re having trouble RSVPing, please don’t hesitate to reach out to either of us. If we do not receive a response by the deadline, we will unfortunately assume you are unable to attend. We will certainly miss celebrating with you, but we must provide final guest counts to our venue and vendors.

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. While most areas are paved, we recommend choosing footwear that is comfortable for walking around the venue throughout the evening.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. We recommend using rideshare services or staying at one of our recommended downtown hotels, all of which are just minutes from the venue.
