We met on an online dating website, and after 5 weeks of "chatting", we finally met for lunch at the Chili's in Tomball, on October 24th, 2014. When I first saw Mark, he was standing next to his brand new Harley he had just bought the day before. He had the biggest smile that just took my breath away! (He claims to this day, that it was the Harley I was attracted to!) Anyway, our lunch was enjoyable with a lot of conversation and laughs. I had ordered hot chocolate and when it was served, it had no whipped cream on it. I asked about getting some and was told they didn't have any. Then Mark excused himself and left the table. When he returned, he told me he had asked at the bar if they had any whipped cream. At that moment I thought, "Who goes the extra step to get something like that for someone he doesn't even know"? Boy, did I take notice of that right away!! After lunch, he asked if I would like to go on a ride with him. I told him I had never ridden before. (Little did I know he had never had anyone ride with him before either!) He claims he just wanted to see if he could keep the bike up!! And that's how we started off this journey, with lots of humor, adventure, travels, and always great tunes! On October 1st, 2017, Mark shocked me and got down on one knee and proposed to me. He had to ask me three times as I kept saying,"What, what, what?" Of course I finally said," Yes" and here we are! We are excited to share our wedding day with family and friends as we look forward to many, many more adventures, laughs, great music, and memories made as Mr. and Mrs. Carroll!!
