The Courtship.

Their first outing was at Bohemian Caverns—jazz, good conversation, and the
discovery that Dawn will not leave the house unless the tips of her shoes are polished. Mark also revealed his inner social butterfly.

Then came “Snowmageddon.” They talked, laughed, shoveled snow, and slowly fell in
love. Mark realized he was smitten while gazing at Dawn during a jazz set at the Twin
Jazz Club. Dawn found herself equally drawn in, touched by Mark’s consistency,

During long conversations, Mark admitted he had not felt this way in decades. Dawn
shared that years earlier, she had written down the qualities of the man she hoped to

We deeply appreciate each other’s life journey and are excited to keep growing,

Why We Decided To Get Married.

We discovered that we share values, humor, respect and the importance of spiritual

With that alignment came the desire for a true-life partner—someone to share everyday
moments, joys, and challenges. In many ways, our bond already felt permanent;
choosing marriage simply honors what we already know to be true.
