We’re getting married!

Christina: Our love story started in 2005! I met Mark at a Coptic Club dinner. He was so cute but I was too nervous to start talking with him. Eventually, we talked and the spark felt real but nerves got the best of us. Fast forward 14 years and it's Monday night in Oct 2019- Bachelor in Paradise is on and the girls are over. I check The League, a dating app Michelle referred me to, and my heart starts galloping! I see Mark! His pictures are so cute but my mind plays games! What happens if I swipe right but he swipes left- I can't handle the rejection. I stared at his profile for 30 min, contemplating what to do. My friends said swipe right, he's cute! Still staring + sipping my wine, I got the courage to swipe right. Sadly, nothing happened! In dating app terms, that means he hasn't seen my profile yet or he swiped left. Heartbroken, I went back to my wine and BIP ending the night with my karaoke crew, Morgan and Yassie. The next day, my phone says “1 new match”. It’s Mark! He swiped right! So excited, I quickly messaged him! He played hard to get - not responding right away but enough to show interest. We set a date and I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Mark. Mark: About 15 years ago, I went to a Coptic Club dinner at CPK. Next to me sat the most beautiful girl. We had fun conversations and I was impressed by how easy to talk to she was. She was so cool it only took me 14 years to work up the courage to ask her out. Christina and I never connected in college and were only acquaintances. 2 years ago, I was on a dating app (one of the nice ones) and there before my stunned eyes, was Christina Habashy. She was even more beautiful now. I had not thought that was possible. She texted me hi. Everything after that is history. We met up a few days later and had an immediate connection. By the time dinner was over, I knew this one was serious. Every day with her is an adventure. I could not ask for a better partner for this life journey.
