It was the Fall of 2012 at the University of Connecticut where the smell of autumn leaves (and love) filled the air when Mark first noticed Chandler practicing her dance moves for the Homecoming dance competition that was only a few weeks away. Because her moves were so good, Chandler had been placed in the very back row of the routine (so as not to make the other girls jealous, obviously). As the weeks passed and the ladies of Kappa Kappa Gamma and the men of Sigma Chi came to know each other better, Mark became more and more interested in Chandler. Finally, one fateful night at Huskies Bar, they struck up a conversation (followed by a Lemon Drop or two) and before the night was done, Mark worked up the courage to ask Chandler for her phone number. "If you want it bad enough, you'll find it", she responded. She was sassy...and he liked it. Needless to say, Mark did find that number and a love began to grow that day between the two of them. It is a love that has lived on the shores of South Beach and the Hudson River. It is a love that has grown to include one very small and exceptionally handsome dog. It is a love that traveled 9,000 miles to a small beach in Krabi, Thailand where Chandler said "Yes!" as the sun set over the water. And it is a love that is still young and still just beginning in many ways, with many more chapters to be written and with many more adventures to be had.
