happily ever after starts here...

Ashlyn and Mark’s story began on Bumble, but it was their first date that truly made them realize they had found something special. They met for ice cream at Sara’s on Tuesday, August 8th 2023, and from the very beginning, there was a little laughable first-date moment—Ashlyn was standing right in front of Mark on the patio, and he didn’t even see her! She had to call out his name (right in front of him) to get his attention, and that little awkward moment has become a story they still giggle about to this day. With cups of chocolate ice cream in hand, they walked down to the beach, the waves of Lake Erie crashing beside them as they shared stories, dreams, and laughs. There was something effortless and natural about their connection, something that made even the simplest moments feel magical. Their first date ended with a nighttime drive around the peninsula, music playing softly in the background, and both of them learning even more about each other. By the end of that evening, Ashlyn and Mark both knew—without a doubt—that they were meeting the person they would someday marry. Over the past two and a half years, they’ve built a life full of love, laughter, and little adventures. Together, they’ve created a home with their three dogs and chickens, shared countless memories, and worked every day to love each other as best they can. Ashlyn and Mark feel endlessly lucky to have found each other, and now, as they prepare to celebrate their wedding day, they’re excited to continue their story, hand in hand, forever.
