(Mark's POV) How did we get here? AJ will say it was all her, but I'd like to say it was 50/50. My last day at Boathouse Tsawwassen Mills was her interview day, and from that one glance of me, she was hooked ;) A year later, I started working back at Tsawwassen Mills right next door to her. She thought I didn't like her because I wouldn't talk to her... I thought she didn't like me because she didn't talk to me. During COVID, when there was nobody but your neighbour to talk too, she would come by and ask if I wanted Starbucks in the morning, and of course I would say yes (who wouldn't want a free breakfast) - then one day she was walking past my store on her break and I told her to wait... so I could go on break with her (later I found out she just wanted to enjoy her break ALONE and I totally crashed it). We would then spend pretty much every break together at the food court, not realizing when they became dates (an affordable date, I would say). I would ask her if she wanted a ride home, and she would say no EVERY SINGLE TIME.... I'd ask again, and she would insist she's capable of getting home. THEN one day, I got a text... This is the one time Mark got to have a say
