Our friends and family absolutely love GSB! They have so many options of beer, seltzers, wine, cocktails and good food options as well! Hang out areas both inside and outside as well!
Fire Island Vines
Ari actually went to high school with the owners daughters - fantastic family and a good spot to hang out for a casual glass of wine or some of their seasonal and classic cocktails! Not a true restaurant feel but they do have some pickings for food if that's what you're looking for!
Buttermilk's Farmhouse
If you're looking for a warm cozy breakfast spot, this is the spot! Plenty to choose from on the menu, with the best S'mores latte. Try their 'Holy Cannoli' French toast, or their classic French toast bites!
Americano Pie Bar
The tastiest menu when it comes to Italian! A must try is their 'Fried chicken Caesar Piadina' on the Brunch menu and their 'Spinach & Artichoke Pizza' on their dinner menu. All of the menus have delicious pickings but those are 2 of Ari's favorites! A must try!
The Shed Restaurant - West Sayville NY
Comfort food to the MAX! This place is delicious, and a cute little spot if you're looking for a homey feel when having a meal whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. Both indoor and outdoor seating is a plus!
Dirty Taco + Tequila Patchogue
When dirty meets filthy. This taco place is easily one of Ari's favorite places. A menu fit for everyone with some unique and tasty flavors amongst some delicious margaritas!
Wally's Bagels
Ari stole Marks heart with a BEC from Wallys. One of the best BECs we've had in a while (and between the traveling the 2 of us have done - we would know). With lines out the door yet fast service almost every time we're there, its a must GO-TO for your morning BEC.
Bay Shore Bean
One of the best coffee spots Ari will always go to and bring Mark some of the most delicious pastries - whether it's for a study day, for a cold specialty latte, or one of the iced teas on the menu. Recommend going in person as not everything is mentioned on their website/instagram! There are countless flavors of syrups and cold press coffees to choose from - delicious!
360 Taiko Sushi & Lounge
An amazing sushi spot if you're in the mood for fresh sashimi and the most delicious fried oysters. All of their specialty rolls you can never go wrong with and their cocktails are simply delectable! Their sister restaurant (also listed below) is to-die-for as well! After dinner here - there are tons of bars to hop around town to on Main street!
Aji 53 Japanese Restaurant
One of Ari & Marks favorite sushi spots to this day! Between the 'American dream roll' and their 'Shrimp tempura roll', there is an incredible amount of dishes to choose from and rolls that will have you wanting more! The mother of the bride will always recommend the Lychee martini and the father of the bride loves their fusion dishes like the Hibachi chicken! After dinner or lunch here - there are tons of bars & other pop in restaurants to go to as well!
Oconee Diner
Easily one of the best diners on Long island (but we are completely biased on this!). Recommend going in person, they decorate for every holiday on the calendar, you name the holiday, they decorate for it and full blown decorations from ceiling to floor! An array of amazing food options, from the classic diner burger to a skillet omelette and more!
Island Lake Diner
This is hands down one of Mark's favorite places to go to when we visit Ari's parents - we will never not make a diner trip! Delicious food, friendly staff, and recently went viral on social media for their 'Chicken cutlet tacos'! A must-try for good eats and great comfort food with company!
Barrique Kitchen & Wine Bar
A great option for our wine-lovers out there! I (Ari) used to go here at least twice a week on any given week with my MOH. Delicious food, a huge wine selection from multiple states, countries, and even locally selected wineries on the island! Babylon is a super walkable town with an array of bars and restaurants as well in the surrounding area of Barrique!
