When should I get there?
Answer
While the amount of time designated to mingle before the ceremony is entirely up to you, please note that you must be inside the ceremony space no later than 6:50 PM. Please do not arrive earlier than 6:15 PM. The ceremony will start promptly at 7:00 PM. Anyone arriving after 6:50 PM will be asked to wait to enter until the ceremony is finished.

Do I have to RSVP?
Answer
Yep, you have to. For the sake of our sanity, please use the RSVP link on the website. If you are having issues with RSVPing online, please text Aliya at 813.928.6455. Kindly RSVP before Friday, January 31, 2025. Any RSVPs after this date will be marked as a "no" as we will be sending a final head count to vendors and will not be contractually able to make changes. Thank you for your understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Our wedding will be intimate with our loved ones and we are not extending additional +1s at this time. If your partner is invited, their name was included on your Save the Date envelope as well as your formal invitation envelope.

Can I park at the venue?
Answer
Yes, we will have complimentary parking in front of Oxford Exchange. Please tell the parking attendant that you are here for the Young Wedding.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We have paid for a professional photographer and videographer to capture all the events of the wedding. We ask you turn off your electronics during our ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographers. We will be sharing a link to the photos via a link, once received after the wedding day. After the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, you may turn on your devices and take pictures of whatever you wish!

How do I get to the venue?

Please note that you will need to provide your own transportation to the venue and/or to the hotel you are staying at. Please use Google Maps or Apple Maps by typing in Oxford Exchange and it should properly direct you. The address for reference is 420 West Kennedy Boulevard Tampa, Florida 33606.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes! The preferred dress code is formal. We recommend suit and tie as well as cocktail dresses. No jeans or hats please! Also please be respectful of the nature of the day and do not choose an outfit with white, off white, close to white, or any pattern with white. The bride only gets to be the star of the show once, let's give her that opportunity!

Will the reception and ceremony be inside or outside?

The ceremony and reception will be held inside at Oxford Exchange. Rain or shine, the wedding will continue as planned.

I would love to bring a gift! Any special requests?
Answer
First off, thank you so much! Please see the Registry tab at the top of this site to see a selection of options. If you'd like to bring a physical gift to the wedding, we will have a table and a locked box to drop off any cards. Thank you again!

How does seating work?
Answer
At the ceremony, we will have the first two rows reserved for members of the immediate family of the bride and groom. You can choose any side to sit on! For the reception, we will have seating cards to let you know your table assignment.

I HAVE SPECIAL DIETARY CONCERNS, WHAT KIND OF FOOD WILL BE PROVIDED?

For those who specifically noted in your answers on your RSVP, we have made special arrangements for your meals during dinner and for a sweet treat during dessert! Feel free to text Aliya if any other allergies arise before the wedding day. The last day to make changes on food restrictions is February 20, 2025.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
Answer
We decided against reserving a block of rooms, specifically due to every person having a different budget and many of you all being local to Tampa/Orlando. Please visit "Places to Stay" to take a look at places we recommend! Aliya did a lot of research, but what's new?

Am I allowed to bring my children?
Answer
No. Aliya is still warming up to liking children in the first place, don't want to scare her on her special day!

But of course! Please drink responsibly, as Aliya and Mark will not be responsible for your ass.
