A Love Story

Mark and Alina met on the train on their way home from Brooklyn Technical High School. Mark immediately liked her and started name calling her - the sure way to get a lady's attention as a teenager. Alina reciprocated with smiles and giggles, but it would be a long journey before Mark would win her heart...

After a decade of being friends, Mark & Alina scheduled a catch-up brunch. Mark was excited to see Alina and secretly hoped for more. He was even almost on time! Alina's friends teased her about how funny it would be if they were to "hook up" for this wasn't Mark's first attempt. A brunch, city frolic, foot massage, bar visit, boat ride and dance club later, Alina was convinced that he was the one. Mark was thrilled and called all of his friends! In the wise words of 2017: "Yo bro, you'll never believe what happened..."

One night Mark saw in his dream that he proposed in a hot air balloon. Eureka! He made his dream reality and scheduled a hot air balloon trip for their anniversary. He didn't know how hard it would be to pull off - the anniversary came with cloudy weather and lift-off was canceled. The second attempt two days later at 3:30am proved to be successful; it was a beautiful day. A sleep-deprived Alina, 2000 feet in the air, said "Yes" to becoming Mark's wife. She made the right choice and was not thrown off the side of the balloon. We are excited to share the next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Mexico!
