When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that all RSVPs be submitted by August 24, 2026—two months before the big day. This gives us plenty of time to finalize seating, meals, and all the little details that make the celebration run smoothly. If you already know you’ll be joining us, feel free to RSVP early—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What time does the ceremony start?

We’re kicking things off with a ceremony on the lawn near Forge & Vine at 5:00pm sharp—don’t be fashionably late, or you might miss the “I do’s”! At 5:30pm, we’re wrangling everyone for a big group photo. Think of it as your moment to shine before the champagne flows. Then it’s time to sip, snack, and mingle during cocktail hour in the Groton Inn courtyard from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. By 6:30pm, we’ll be diving into dinner, dancing, and all the good stuff. Bring your moves, your appetite, and your party spirit—we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Should we say goodbye before we leave for the night?

Answer

No need to track us down for a formal farewell—we fully support the art of the Irish goodbye. Once you've danced, dined, and soaked in the love, feel free to slip out whenever you're ready. Just promise us one thing: make sure we get a hug, a high-five, or a hello sometime during the celebration. We want to see your beautiful face and thank you for being part of our day—even if the goodbye happens quietly under the stars.

What's the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

Answer

If you're staying off-site, we've got you covered! We'll be sharing Lyft voucher codes that should cover up to $25 of your ride —so no need to worry about logistics of making the shuttle on time or designating who can't party because they're driving. We will make the code available on this site within 90 days of the big day. So whether you're rolling in solo or piling into a car with your favorite dance partners, getting there and back should be smooth sailing. If the code is not applying to the ride, make sure the pickup and drop-off locations for your ride are within the location restrictions of the Groton Inn, and the ride is taking place within the hours of 3:00pm and 2:00am.

Are plus ones allowed?

Answer

Yes! Love is better shared—and so is cake, champagne, and the dance floor. Bring your favorite human (or your favorite date-for-the-day) and let’s make some memories together. Just make sure they’re ready to party.

We’ve already built a home we love—so instead of things, we’re collecting memories. Right after the wedding, we’re heading off on the ultimate European getaway! Every cent contributed will help us savor cooking classes with locals in Italy, dance through flamenco nights in Spain, unwind on the beaches of the French Riviera, and wander through ancient ruins in Greece. If you'd like to be part of our adventure, we’ve set up a registry, found in the "registry" tab above, focused on experiences that will make this honeymoon unforgettable. Yes, please do! Photography is kind of a big deal for us, and we’d love to see the day through your eyes. Snap away and share your favorite moments using #goinggokey so we can relive the magic with you! Just one small favor: our professional photographers will be working their magic too, so please be mindful not to block their shots. We promise they’re worth it.
