The Saga projection covers 7,000 square feet of light, color and visual narration projected onto the majestic façade of San Fernando Cathedral- the oldest continuously operating cathedral in the United States. Through the 24-minute journey, it has become a destination for residents, South Texans, national, and visitors from across the globe. International artist Xavier de Richemont created this reknowned exhibit to educate, and delight viewers, and stoke an appreciation for the epic history of San Antonio.
Experience the spectacular display of over 100,000 lights (2,250 strings of light) draped over the towering bald cypress trees that line the River Walk. Visiting the River Walk to enjoy the spectacular holiday lights is free. The River Walk is a public park open every day of the year, 24 hours a day. Holiday lights are on the downtown portion of the River Walk.
