We are so grateful for your love and support as we celebrate our wedding. Your presence is truly the greatest gift, and we kindly request no additional gifts. For those who feel inclined to give, we would be honored by a donation to Freedom Alliance, an organization very close to our hearts. Freedom Alliance provides programs that support wounded service members, combat veterans, and military families. Throughout my (Abbie’s) time in college, Freedom Alliance provided me with a scholarship that allowed me to focus on my education without the burden of tuition costs. Even more importantly, the organization has played an important role in preserving and honoring my father’s legacy of military service and sacrifice. Through Freedom Alliance, I had the meaningful opportunity to travel the country as an ambassador, sharing my father’s story and my experiences as a Gold Star child with donors and at fundraising events. I was also fortunate to connect with fellow Gold Star children and service members whose lives have been shaped by similar experiences and sacrifices.
