New Years Eve 2015 Tiffany decided last minute to go to a New Years Party with coworkers that night after work. She met 2 coworkers at Sidekicks for a pre party drink. They left for the party and decided that it wasn't what they expected/wanted to do. Instead they went to the Original to meet other coworkers. She spent most of her night there until one of her coworkers decided after midnight to head to Sports on Tap. She was dragged out the door with no jacket or car keys. Mark went out with friends to see 32 Below at Sports on Tap. He spent his whole night there. New Years Day ( 12:20 am) Tiffany arrived at Sports on Tap and was immediately left by her coworker. She called a friend for a ride. While walking out of Sports on Tap, she ran into two friends and decided to stop in talk with them. These two friends happened to be hanging out with Mark. The bar was closing and she had to wait outside for her friend to arrive. It was January and she had no jacket and was wearing a dress. Mark decided that he wasn't going to leave this poor girl alone outside with no jacket. He let his friends leave and gave Tiffany his jacket until her friend arrived. Tiffany offered for her friend to take him anywhere he wanted for waiting with her. He said he was going to an after party at his buddy's house. On the car ride Tiffany learn's that his buddy's house happens to be her cousin's house. He asked her to stay for the party and the rest is history.
Mark and Tiffany started hanging out a lot after that fateful New Years Eve night. They were constantly together, even though Mark got a little scared in the beginning and panicked at the idea of a serious relationship. Everyone else around him knew he should be dating Tiffany, but he just took a little while to figure it out himself. With months of encouragement from many friends ( Special thanks to Kasey, Carly & Kris) he finally decided to make it official after a fun night with friends around a bonfire.
One night after a concert at the fair. Mark and Tiffany met up with her parents and Steve & Lori at the Carousel Pub. Mark had had some liquid courage and decided to ask Randy for permission to marry his daughter. The next day Randy called Mark and a plan was put in motion. Randy and Brenda decided to throw a Luau Party like they had done in the past. Mark decided this would be the time to propose. So the planning and secrecy began. Tiffany's parents and Mark's parents met at JL Beers for a couple hours to start planning. Everyone was very successful at hiding the reason for the party from Tiffany ( she thought it was just another Feist party.) Brenda, Randy, and Mark managed to build and create things for the party without Tiffany catching on. August 19th arrived and Mark's family helped decorate and bring food. Everyone seemed to be on edge and Tiffany had no idea why everyone was so stressed out. The party started and eventually a toast was made. Randy started it off and Mark finished by getting down on one knee while her favorite song played. Tiffany of course said yes! It was a great luau that turned into the most amazing Engagement party with friends and family.
