Are the ceremony & reception at the same location?

Answer

No, we are having a church ceremony & our reception will be a couple of miles down the road at a family members home.

What’s for dinner?

Answer

We will be having a buffet style dinner. Fajita Bar with all the "fixings".

What's the drink situation?

Answer

There will be plenty of non-alcoholic beverages as well as a self-serve open bar available including signature premade cocktails, kegs for beer, and other drink options but feel free to BYOB as well.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Of course! But please keep in mind that there will be alcohol & uncensored music at the reception AFTER all scheduled dances/cake cutting/dinner/etc are over with. We don’t mind if you don’t.

Are there local places to stay?

Answer

For our Houston peeps, Beaumont, which is about 50 minutes away would be a halfway point back home for you and has many options for lodging. For an option much closer to the reception, Jasper has a Holiday Inn and is about 15-20 minutes away.

Will you be making a registry?

Answer

No, we will be setting up a “honeymoon fund” in lieu of gifts.

What attire?

Answer

We are not picky! The ceremony will be indoors at the church but if you are attending the reception, dress accordingly for the summer heat since it will be outdoors.

Transportation?

Answer

Please have arrangements made or a designated driver. Everyone is able to bring a "plus 1" so this should not be an issue. Transportation such as “Uber” & “Lyft” are not as easily accessible in our area as they are in larger cities.

Any ceremony rules?

Answer

All that we ask is that there are no phones poking out in the isles or up above heads. We paid good money to have a professional photographer on our big day and don't want to see your electronics in our pictures. We will share all the footage from our big day as soon as we receive them from our photographers and videographer.
