A dating app called Hinge is where it all started. We matched in late July 2023, quickly became best friends and have been inseparable ever since! Our first date was at Barrio, followed by a walk by the waterfalls in the metro parks, ending with Abigail’s first trip to East Coast Custard; which has since become our go-to sweet treat spot. Although our paths had never crossed before, an invisible string tied us together. Our parents had attended the same high school, and our grandmothers went to grade school together. Furthermore we learned that Mark’s stepmom and Abigail’s cousin are close friends. Discovering all this further confirmed to us that we were meant to be.

We’re both Northeast Ohio born and raised; Mark from North Olmsted, and Abigail from Cuyahoga Falls. We currently reside in Lyndhurst with our three cats: Lola, Loki, and Lyla. Mark graduated from Cleveland State University in 2022 and currently works as a paralegal for a lawfirm. He’s a lover of the gym, anime, Coke Zero, science fiction, and Abigail. He also makes a mean chicken alfredo and is unbeatable at Mario Kart. His starter Pokémon is Charmander. Abigail graduated from Kent State University in 2023 and has worked as a marketing coordinator for a software company ever since. She loves caring for the neighborhood birds, questionable reality tv, sauerkraut and mushroom soup, Mark, and going to the movies. Abigail has her black belt in making buffalo chicken dip. Her favorite Selena song is No Me Queda Más.
