Devoy and I met working at a medical device company called Stryker. We became friends and remained in contact even after I was let go from the job (He knew I was going to be fired and didn't say anything, he didn't confess that until about a year or two later.)

Devoy made the first move. He knew that I enjoyed going to the beach in the evening to just sit by the water to relax and think. One day he asked me to go to the beach and we sat and talked for a few hours.

The time we went to a trampoline park and we were just able to connect with the kid version of ourselves. We laughed a lot that day.
