We met as kids in our junior year of high school, back when life felt big and unknown, and we were still figuring out how to pass US history. Somewhere between classes, football games, and way too much time texting, we found something comforting in each other. We didn’t just fall in love… we were best friends. To the point that we weren't even allowed to sit together anymore due to the amount of laughing we would do. Then came COVID 3 months into dating, when the world basically shut down and somehow our relationship had to survive distance, boredom, and way too many FaceTime calls. We went from seeing each other every day to counting down the minutes until the next outside visit or sitting in parking lots just to spend time together. If our relationship could survive that era (and our questionable quarantine hair dye moments), we knew we were solid. Through every season since then, we’ve been side by side—cheering each other on, chasing dreams we used to only talk about, and growing into the people we always hoped we’d be. From high school hallways to real life, we’ve done it all together. What started as young love turned into something more and a lot more real than we ever imagined (and yes… we are still actually best friends after all these years 😌). Now we get to start our next chapter—not just as high school sweethearts, but as partners for life 🤍
