We met when we were both 16 years old at an after-school program in Atlanta, GA. Throughout the program, we were cool. There were no sparks or any special feelings. Five years later, when we were 21 years old, we began "talking" after Tony took the initiative to slide in Mariyah's DM to find out when she would be back home from college so he could take her out. In 2014 we went on our first date and haven't stopped going on dates since.

While on a day trip in Chattanooga, TN, Tony pulled over to go shopping at the mall. Since they were at the mall and Mariyah thought that was something they could do anytime, she asked, 'Can we take pictures in the next photobooth we see?'. Tony, who was not fond of photobooths, shockingly said, "Sure".
