Flight
Hermosillo is the capital of the state of Sonora. The Aeropuerto international de Hermosillo is the closest airport to the resort in San Carlos. This airport is 147 km or 88 miles away from San Carlos. Both American Airlines and Delta go to Hermosillo from the US, and they may have layovers in Mexico City or Phoenix, depending which part of the US you fly from.

Travel Note
In order to get from the airport to the hotel, it would be best to get a taxi or shuttle. Look for the YELLOW sign that says "Taxis" near the baggage claim area. There is a KIOSK to pay for the taxi with a card. The name of the taxi company is "GRUPO AEROPUERTO DEL PACIFICO." This is the ONLY taxi and shuttle company available at the airport. The taxis are WHITE with PURPLE, GREEN and ORANGE STRIPES. Again, in order to pay, you need to go to the kiosk and pay with a card. The price will vary from 1,600 pesos to 3,200 pesos, or $95 to $190. The price will all depend on how large or small of a taxi you need, not necessarily the number of people. Remember, you are only traveling 88 miles or 147 kilometers to San Carlos.
