Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:45 PM. We kindly recommend arriving at the park entrance no later than 3:00 PM. Please note, there is a 10–12 minute walk from the parking area to the Old Church Picnic Area. This timing allows you to park, make your way over, and get settled before the ceremony begins. Welcome drinks will be available upon arrival, and guests will begin taking their seats shortly thereafter as we prepare to start the ceremony.
Please enter Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park through the Redwood Gate entrance 7867 Redwood Rd, Oakland, CA 94619 After entering, follow the main road straight for about 1 mile. You’ll pass Canyon Meadow Staging Area—continue just a bit further and look for parking near the Redwood Bowl/Staging Area, which is the closest lot to the Old Church Picnic Area. There is a $5 per vehicle entrance fee, payable at the gate (card is typically accepted). From the parking lot, it’s about a 10 minute walk on a mostly flat, shaded path to the Old Church Picnic Area. We’ll have signage to help guide you once you’re on foot.
Ladies - Are encouraged to wear dresses in fall tones such as rust, olive, terracotta, or other warm hues. You will be walking on both paved and dirt paths, wear comfortable sandals or shoes. Men - Are expected to wear slacks/dress pants and a button-down shirt accompanied with a tie and dress shoes. Suit jackets are encouraged. Sombreros tejanos are welcome. No sneakers, denim, or casual hats permitted.
This will be a child-free celebration lasting no later than 8:00PM. Please plan childcare at home accordingly.
