Arilisa first met Maritza as a freshman at a UGA event. They were roommates for two years and have remained inseparable since living together. Khloe (Maritza's dog) considers Arilisa her aunt and she babysits her all the time since they are still neighbors in the same building. They joke that they couldn't live apart for too long and visit each other weekly. They have spent time with each other's families and have celebrated several holidays together. Maritza couldn't be happier to have such a great friend for so many years.

Stephanie has grown up with Maritza their entire lives since they are cousins. They were born only three months apart from each other and have shared countless memories. Maritza considers Stephanie the younger sister she never had. When they were younger Maritza used to always remind Stephanie she was the older cousin. Now, the tables have turned and Stephanie reminds Maritza she is the younger one now. Life' is funny, isn't it? Maritza couldn't imagine not having Stephanie by her side on such an important milestone in her life.

Jennifer has grown up with Maritza their entire lives since she is her older cousin. Jennifer has always been there for Maritza whenever she needs her and still calls her "Bebe" which is Maritza's childhood nickname. They both still remember playing dress-up and Barbies like it was just yesterday. Both have always talked about getting married one day and standing next to each other on the big day. Maritza is so happy that they will be able to share this special moment.

Alexa met Maritza during her freshman year at Georgia State through a mutual friend in the Library Plaza. They both instantly clicked and the rest is history! They have stayed super close throughout their 16-year friendship and are each other's biggest cheerleaders. Maritza loves how genuine and pure-hearted Alexa is with her friends she is truly one of a kind. They have shared so many different chapters of their lives together and Maritza can't wait to celebrate another milestone with Alexa by her side.

Denise meet Maritza during her third year at Georgia State through mutual friends. Maritza always remembers how easy it was to talk to Denise and how wise she was for her age. They sometimes joke about how long they talked the first time they met. It was probably 2 hours long but who notices time when you're with great company. They have been through so many life changes together from school, career changes, promotions, moving, and now they are both engaged at the same time. Maritza can't wait to go through this next life step with Denise.

Catalina is Maritza's future sister-in-law. They have become extremely close since meeting and share so many common interests. Both of them are very similar and it might just be because they were born 2 days apart from each other. They enjoy all DIY, Decor, and fashion that they already feel like sisters. Maritza can't wait to have Catalina by her side on such a special day for both of them. They will finally have the sister they always wanted all because of Diego. :)

Paola first met Maritza through Diego on a double date with her now husband Brynner. Maritza always remember how welcoming Paola was when they first met and they became close very quickly. Maritza loves how thoughtful, genuinely sweet, and kind Paola is to her friends. They have so many common interests and fashion style that they occasionally have shown up to events "twinning" without trying. Both of they always laugh about how many times this has happened. Maritza is so grateful to have met Paola and so happy to share another important milestone together.

Sonia and Maritza both met each other through Diego. Since the first time they met, they have always had a great time together and developed a close relationship fairly quickly. Maritza loves how bubbly, funny, kind, and sweet Sonia is to her close friends. They have traveled with their significant others on several trips to different cities and can't wait for their next adventure. Maritza can't imagine not having Sonia next to her on the big day. She is a great friend and so happy they met.

Nicole met Maritza during their freshman year in accounting class. They sat next to each other on their first day of class and immediately became close going through their love/hate relationship with accounting 101. Throughout all 16 years they have remained great friends and Maritza is so lucky to have sat next to Nicole in class back in 2008. She can't imagine not having such a kind, sweet, and loving friend like Nicole.

They have celebrated holidays together with Yesica and Joshua's family. They have stayed such great friends during so many different chapters of their lives. They both immediately became close friends and have maintained a friendship of over 15 years. Maritza truly cherishes their friendship since they have been through so many different life phases together. Maritza loves how pure-hearted and thoughtful Star is with her friends. Meeku would come and hang out regularly with his cousins, and stayed close with Diego throughout the years. They always had a close love of basketball and would play regularly growing up and through adulthood.

Brynner and Diego have been friends since the mid 2010s, where their love of soccer and sports united them regularly to support the Colombia National team and the Real Madrid / Barcelona matches during the peak of their rivalry. Brynner and Diego have been very close friends for almost 10 years now, and hang out regularly with their wives and friends. Their common interests include sports, music, games (anything competitive really), and their careers.

Kleber and Diego first met in 2017 through Brynner, and became close after a friends trip to Sarasota in 2019. Ever since then, Diego and Kleber have hung out regularly, with their wives becoming close friends and have gone on several trips to different cities together.
