This is the "wurst" bar in Baltimore. Saying it is a sausage place seems like an incomplete description. It is super delicious and eclectic, has a great beer selection, and provides the entertainment of searching through the scrabble tiles on the bar for hidden messages. Seating is limited.
This is a great seafood restaurant on the square in Canton. It is less casual than some other places on our list, but delicious and very comfortable.
This is the pizza place where we went for our first date, and still one of our favorites. There are a few locations around the city. It is Turkish owned, so it's not your standard pizza. Try the Homeslyce Classic with soujuk.
This place has excellent burgers using a variety of meats ranging from beef to camel to kangaroo. This location is a fun one if you're wandering around Fells Point shopping and looking at the water.
This super authentic Italian place is actually catering our wedding! It is a combination of restaurant, liquor store, deli, and market. Order any food, wine, or bucket of sangria (our favorite) at the deli counter. You then pay and add on any beer or other beverages from the case at the front counter. Find your own seat, but there will be a server taking care of you. Make sure to bring cash to tip!
This is a very casual, artisanal pizza place with lots of tasty options for carnivores, herbivores, and everything in between. The restaurant has the same owner at Snake Hill, but it is a larger restaurant.
