The easiest airport to fly into is Milan Malpensa (MXP). It’s Milan’s largest international airport with the most nonstop flight options from the U.S. and abroad, making it the most convenient and reliable choice for travelers. From Milan, Lake Como is just about 1–1.5 hours away by train or car, with frequent and straightforward connections. You can take a direct train from Milan to Como, or arrange a private transfer if you prefer a more seamless arrival. Alternative option: Milan Linate (LIN) is closer to the city center but offers fewer international flights, so we generally recommend Malpensa for the smoothest travel experience. *** El aeropuerto más recomendable para volar es Milán Malpensa (MXP). Travel time is about 35 minutes to 1 hour. Both stations are located near the lake, making it easy to continue to your hotel by ferry or taxi. We recommend that guests book their accommodation in the lakeside town of Bellagio. On September 4th, our evening will conclude there, and ferry service stops operating after a certain hour, making Bellagio the most convenient place to stay. The attached guide includes a few hotel recommendations at different price points.
