We'd love for everyone to feel a little dressed up, but nothing too formal. Think of it as "a step above casual" - clothes you'd wear to a nice dinner or a fun celebration, but not black-tie.
Yes! If you're traveling from outside the UK, you'll need a valid passport. Make sure your passport does not expire within 6 months of your travel date. You will also need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) which you'll need to apply for online before you travel. We have attached the address below to apply for an ETA. https://www.gov.uk/eta/apply
Scottish weather in April can be a little bit of everything - sunshine, rain, wind and even the occasional chilly day. Sometimes all in the same afternoon! To help you feel prepared and comfortable during your trip, here are a few things we recommend packing: 1) Layers are key - Bring sweaters, cardigans, and long sleeves that you can add or remove as weather changes. 2) A warm jacket - Even in April, evenings can be quite cool. A waterproof jacket is especially handy. 3) Comfortable shoes - Edinburgh has plenty of cobblestones and hills, so pack shoes that are good for walking (ex. walking shoes or boots) 4) Travel adaptor (UK plug type G)
Please RSVP under the tab on our wedding website.
