He started up a conversation and we quickly realized we were the missing parts of each other. We briefly lost touch, but reconnected in October of 2021 and have been inseparable ever since. Wes proposed to me in our apartment on Christmas Eve. It was 2 weeks after my cancer diagnosis. He has stuck by my side and been the most amazing partner throughout it all.
