Travel Plans to Carlowrie Castle
We’re so excited to celebrate with you at Carlowrie Castle!
By Car:
Carlowrie Castle is about a 50-minute drive (approximately 30 miles) from Glasgow.
Take the M8 motorway heading east, then follow the signs for Kirkliston and Carlowrie.
There is ample parking available at the castle for all guests.
By Train:
The nearest train station to Carlowrie Castle is Kirkliston, which is about 3 miles away.
Trains run regularly from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Waverley; from there, you can take a taxi or local bus to the castle.
By Taxi or Rideshare:
Taxis and rideshare services like Uber are available in Glasgow and can take you directly to the castle.
Estimated travel time is around 50 minutes. Don't ask us the cost though..
