Is this a Punjabi or American wedding?

Both! Friday night November 6th will be mehndi night. Saturday November 7th, will be a ceremony at the Gurudwara followed by lunch. Then, an American ceremony and reception to follow in the evening!

Where are the different venues located?

Great question! We have not solidified all of the venues. However, the American ceremony and reception will take place at Pink Knob Carriage House in Clarkston, MI. All venues will be within driving distance of each other!

What do I wear to the Indian portion of the wedding?

Answer

You can wear whatever you please! It is not necessary to dress in Indian attire. However, to enter the Gurudwara, you will need to take your shoes off and keep your head covered. So, remember to bring socks! Bandanas are often provided if you do not have your own head covering. If you want to purchase Indian attire, there are many websites online to do so!
