Is there a room block available?

Answer

Yes. We have a limited number of rooms at The Pell and The Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina. We also recommend checking out Airbnb, Vrbo, or inns and hotels downtown to be close to all the action!

Is there parking available at the chuch?

Answer

Yes, there is a parking lot behind Jesus Saviour Church off of Vernon Ave. If this is full when you arrive, please park on the street.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to and from the reception from The Pell only. Please drive yourself to the church where parking is available. The bus will depart from The Pell to The Bohlin at 5:40pm and return at 11:00pm. If you are staying downtown, The Bohlin is likely within walking distance. Uber and Lyft are also readily available in Newport if you prefer!

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Our ceremony is at 3:00 p.m. so that guests have the chance to check into their accommodations before cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m. Ready early? Grab a drink downtown and meet us at The Bohlin for 6:00! We recommend Giusto, The Mooring, Midtown Oyster Bar or The Red Parrot so you're steps away!

Is there parking available at The Bohlin?

Answer

No, unfortunately there is no free parking for guests at The Bohlin. If you are not staying in Newport (or the surrounding area), we recommend parking at The Pell and taking the shuttle to The Bohlin at 5:40 p.m. It will return to The Pell at 11:00 p.m. There are multiple paid parking lots near The Bohlin for around $20 (4 Commercial Wharf & 9 Scotts Wharf), but we cannot guarantee there will be spots open for our guests. Uber and Lyft are also readily available, as well as other paid parking options downtown. It may be cheaper to Uber/Lyft back to your car at The Pell if you decide to leave before 11:00 p.m. than to park downtown.

Is anything outside?

Answer

Cocktail hour will be outside on a stone patio, weather permitting, and dinner will be under the tent. Keep in mind it may cool off as it gets darker.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love for our guests to dress in "Coastal Formal" attire. This blends formal elegance with the relaxed, coastal setting of our venue. Don't overthink it - we are just looking forward to celebrating with you!
