Our story started out like any great 21st century love affair...Hinge. Kevin took the chance and messaged Marissa first (he rage-baited her to get a response)...and it worked. We soon set the time and place for our first of many dates. We decided to meet in Tarrytown at a restaurant overlooking the water and the Tappan Zee Bridge. We talked for hours and walked through the nearby park until it got dark and we were both nervous to see if the other wanted to see each other again, but luckily Kevin asked "Can I see you again?" and from there, our relationship went full speed ahead. After about 6 months of dating, we decided to move in together. 2 years went by and the question of marriage was brought up (many times) but in typical Kevin fashion, he wanted Marissa to squirm for as long as possible. Then (finally) Kevin decided to stop tormenting her and started his plan to propose (for real unlike "Mexico's Engagement Gate" - the real ones remember). Now picture this: Sagg Main Beach, after a rainstorm, the sun is setting and a rainbow is appearing. Marissa's family watching as Kevin gets down on one knee and after a few stunned moments, she said "yes!". Soon after, his family joins the beach celebration along with Marissa's best friend Bianca (and yes even little Chance came along to witness)! So I guess moral of the story is...online dating works!
