A few years ago, we visited Cartagena and completely fell in love with it. The city has a special mix of history, warm weather, beautiful beaches, vibrant culture, and incredibly welcoming people — what’s not to love? From the moment we were there, it felt like a place full of joy and celebration, so we thought: what better place to get married?

How do I get around Cartagena?

Answer

For events, will have a shuttle to and from the Hyatt Regency to the other venues. To get around town, Ubers are quick and cheap. You can also use the local taxi app called “Cabify” to order taxis. Cabify in Cartagena does not have large vans so if you need a vehicle that seats 4+, use Uber. The hotel front desk can also help you find transportation if needed! If using a local taxi, make sure to confirm the price upfront.

What is the weather in Cartagena?

Answer

The weather in Cartagena is warm and sunny year round. The weather in February/March is typically in the mid-high 80s during the day and 70s at night. It’s generally dry, so there’s plenty of sunshine and ocean breeze!
