Josh and I met in 7th grade while attending Pleasant Hill Middle School. Our young love didnt last too long but he was always the guy that got away. Several years went passed and we lost touch until one fateful night in October 2014. I saw that he was online on facebook so I “poked” him. It didnt take long before he responded. We decided to hang out and the rest is history.
Murphys CA We went out of town with our best friends Dave and Brianna for the Hank Williams Jr concert. Being that we love hikes and being outdoors I wanted to add on an extra stop on the way. We headed to Natural Bridges where we went on a 2 mile hike to a GORGEOUS swimming hole inside a cavern. Something came over me and I decided fully clothed it was time to go for a swim and tried making it to the other side. I didnt go very far...found a rock in the middle of the cavern and tried convincing Josh to come with me. He reluctantly swam to the rock I had perched myself on. The water was freezing. As we took in the beauty of this place we were in, he popped a ring box out from the water and asked me to be his wife!! I did all the things I swore I would never do. I ugly cried, squealed and made a huge scene 🤣 We spent a fantastic weekend celebrating with some of our closest friends.
