Question

Why is there such a large gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We sincerely apologize for the huge gap between our ceremony and reception. When we got engaged and began looking at venues, almost everything was already booked for 2018. We had to make the choice of an intimate early ceremony separate from the reception or waiting until 2019 to get married. We will have a few activity options provided day of. Otherwise we recommend relaxing at the hotel in between to re-energize for the reception. Feel free to also take a look at our "Things To Do" section of our website.

Is there parking at the ceremony/reception venue?

Answer

We recommend using our provided transportation which will be leaving from the Crowne Plaza for the ceremony and back. However, if you prefer to drive there is parking available at the ceremony site and self-pay valet parking available at the reception. Uber/taxi is also a great option!

Is the ceremony going to be in the grass outside?

Answer

For those that are attending the ceremony please note that it will be in a completely covered building in case of rain. We do recommend wearing comfortable shoes or bringing flats to change into due to the length of the day.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love kids, but we think our party will be best suited for adults only.

How do I know if I am expected to be in the family photos after the ceremony?

Answer

In an effort to stick to our strict time limit at the venue, we are keeping family photos to immediate family and grandparents only. Aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends will have an opportunity for photos before the reception.

This is the seventh wedding I've been to this summer. I'm broke. Do I really have to get another gift for these people??

ABSOLUTELY NOT. Gifts are not expected and your presence is a gift alone. We love you.
