The Huntington is gorgeous. Advanced tickets are usually a good idea. They have a children's garden that Eliza loves.
Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden
Beautiful botanic gardens just a 5 minute drive from Sierra Madre.
Descanso Gardens
They have a great model train display and a mini rail that Eliza (and her dad) love.
Syndicate Coffee + Bakery + Kitchen
Best coffee and pastries in Sierra Madre--and all of LA in my opinion.
Vroman's Bookstore
Fantastic bookstore with a great children's selection (all the collections are pretty great, but I spend most of my time chasing after Eliza in the kids section).
Fables & Fancies
Our very own indie bookstore in downtown Sierra Madre. The owner is super nice and they have a cute story time on Sundays at 10:00 am.
Mother Moo Creamery
Our local ice cream parlour! Great ice cream flavors. Another Eliza favorite.
Mary's Market
Charming breakfast and lunch spot in the Sierra Madre canyon. It's very much a hidden gem.
Adams Pack Station
Another hidden gem above Sierra Madre. Drive up into the mountains for a few minutes and explore gorgeous trails and live music and food and donkeys! Check their Instagram for the music lineup and dates.
