Marissa and Taylor met while working in an Arby’s in 2013. They have been best friends ever since. Their friendship has stood the test of time and life, even surviving relocation to Georgia. It is truly an honor to have her join the bridal party from states away. Currently, Taylor is pursuing a Master’s in education, while raising her young son, Henry, alongside her husband, John.
Joe Keegan
Best Man
Joe is the brother of James. Currently, Joe is serving his country in El Paso, Texas. He lives with his 2 cats, Mac and Cheese.
Cierra Aguayo

Cierra and Marissa became friends at an Amazon work event. James had been friends with Cierra through work, and introduced her to Marissa. They had an instant connection and shared a common interest in gossiping about Amazon drama, and miscellaneous competition reality shows. Cierra is incredibly creative. She’s excellent at drawing and exploring new art forms. Cierra is planning her own wedding with her Fiancé, Jordan.
Derrick Stevens

Derrick is Marissa’s brother. He is manger of a bank and lives with his wife, Suzanna. Together they love to travel most recently visiting New Orleans.
Elisabeth Patrick

Elisabeth and Marissa through Elisabeth’s husband, Dakota. At a work event, Dakota introduced Elisabeth and the 2 bonded over a love of singing the little mermaid at Karaoke. Elisabeth is a dedicated travel nurse and working in many hospitals across the Northeastern Indiana area. Currently, Elisabeth is focusing on raising her new baby,Korra, alongside her husband Dakota, and their many fur babies.
Bradley Stevens

Bradley is Marissa’s brother. With his wife, Tiffany, he is raising a two young boys, Rainn and Forrest.
Lillianna Lahr
Flower Girl
Lillie and Marissa met in 2015 when Lillie was birthed. Lillie is in the 5th grade and enjoys reading “Wings of Fire” graphic novels and playing Roblox with her best friend. Be sure to ask Lillie about the many goblins living inside her and their various demands for snacks.
Rainn Stevens
Ring Bearer
Rainn is the nephew of Marissa. Rainn is in the first grade and is very creative. He is excellent at playing pretend and loves to pretend to fight off evil doers. He is the only one the couple can trust to defend the rings.
Tim Pontius

Tim is Marissa’s uncle on her Mother’s side. Tim is a very kind hearted father of two now adult girls, Grace and Anna, who he raised in Illinois alongside his wife Brenda.
