The year was 2008 and 17 year old Frankie was sporting a baggy mens basketball jersey, that damn-near reached his knees, while 16 year old Marissa styled a front poof on top of her head. Wild times, but the couple first locked eyes in Colt Court, at James Logan High School, iykyk. As young romances usually go, the couple had a good run, a few months filled with Fuddruckers dates, Disney's Wall-E showings, Marissa editing Frankie's resume to apply at Krispy Kreme and Frankie making burned CD's of Mac Dre for Marissa. However, it wasn't long before the young couple parted ways and the two would not unite again for another 10 years.. This is the portion of our love story that we have to pay homage to our best friends, Cody and Krislyn Eads. For it was these high school sweethearts who began planning their wedding in 2017, forcing us back into the same social circle, after 10 years. *A juicy snippet about that: One of us tried every effort to prevent the other from participating in this wedding. But to no avail.* As it turned out, growing up apart did the two souls some good, because upon their reunion, it appeared the embers of the flame remained. Shout to Kris and Cody, Cupid's little helpers. Since 2017, Frankie and Marissa have built a little life together, checking off some of their bucket list dreams; Visiting Europe for the first time, purchasing their home in San Leandro and becoming paw-rents to Cairoš¾. It hasn't always been easy, but the two of them choose each other within every obstacle. They've learned to love and accept each other's flaws, like Frankie's clumsy habit of breaking things and Marissa's hyperactive desire to constantly buy cool cups.. the super glue is always on standby and dull glasses are nowhere to be found.
