I used to help watch my neighbors' kids and later found out they had another son that showed up later on so I hadn't met him yet. I believe the first time I saw him was at my birthday party I never said hi, I just stared. I didn't know who he was until my family said it was the neighbors' son. School started and I was on the bus on my way home and I see him, Dimitri even though I wasn't sure if it was him yet. He was talking with his friend and I just happen to be listening in his conversation and they caught me. So Dimitri asked if I played basketball and I lied and said yes and then he asked me "do you wanna play basketball with us" and I said yes. After that almost everyday after school we'd all play basketball and that's how our friendship started!

We were on a cruise with family and the ship made its last stop in Cozumel. We decided to go eat at a place called "Senor Frog's". In the middle of the meal Dimitri had to "use the restroom" so he left going all the way back to the ship. Once he came back, one of the staff came into the crowed to pull me to the stage to dance. My now soon to be mother in law said she'd go dance on stage with me. On my way up to the stage I thought she was following me but when I turned around, to my surprise, she was not there! I ended up staying on stage and the staff was instructing me to dance. Then all of a sudden the staff had me sit on a chair while Dimitri walked on stage and gets a microphone. He said a little speech and then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, and I said YES! We are so excited to be celebrating this next chapter with all of you!
