we're getting married!

Marissa worked for BDO San Jose and Daniel worked for BDO San Francisco. We met at a work happy hour event in line at the bar, we took a shot of tequila together and the rest is history! For the first 2 years, they were in a bay area "long distance" relationship. However, COVID brought them together closer than ever. This helped them want to take the next step and move to a Arizona together. They moved to Arizona in July 2021 which gave them a whole new state to explore! They also adopted their dog, Sally, December 2021. Sally loves to go to the dog park and go wherever Marissa and Daniel are. On July 30, 2022, Daniel and Marissa took a trip to Payson. They went on a beautiful hike through the woods and up the mountain. Once they reached the top of the mountain, Daniel got down on one knee and proposed to Marissa. She said yes!!!
