"Best Friend" is an understatement for the relationship that Brandon and Carder have- brothers is more accurate. Their friendship has not swayed since each of them were just four years old, and is deeply valued by the both of them. The decision of who the best man would be for Carder was never questioned.

For anyone who has ever met Marissa, Susan being her maid of honor is no surprise at all. In 2006, Marissa and Susan quickly formed the type of friendship you only see in movies. It's a friendship that has repeatedly proven to be unconditional through the years, and still is. Constantly pulling each other up in life, Marissa feels nothing but blessed to have Susan by her side on this day.

With Marissa coming from the close family that she does, it took no time at all for her cousin Danny and Carder to become family as well. The long-term relationship Marissa and Carder experienced before their marriage has formed a familial bond between Carder and Danny over the years, and having Danny as a groomsman was an easy choice.
Ari Ivers
Bridesmaid
Ari was asked to be a bridesmaid not just because of her position as sister of the groom, but also due to the close friendship that she has formed with Marissa over the years. Spending time together has become one of Marissa's favorite things, and having Ari as a bridesmaid was a no-brainer.
Andrew Ivers
Groomsman
While 2018 was an exciting year in several ways, Andrew becoming Carder's brother-in-law was definitely one of the most exciting. Carder and Andrew quickly bonded upon meeting, and their bond has only grown stronger with time. Carder considers Andrew as not only his brother, but also his friend, and is looking forward to him being a groomsman on Carder's big day.

Cori and Marissa were the classic high school best friends, that defeated the odds and remained just as close after school ended. As the God Mother of Cori's three beautiful children, Marissa considers Cori to be her family more than her friend. When deciding on bridesmaids, Cori's name was one of the first that came to Marissa's mind.
Jon Rule
Groomsman
Jon has been an uncle, a friend, and a never-ending influence in the man Carder has grown in to. Being a close person to Carder for the duration of his life, he was the more excited to ask Jon to be one of his groomsmen than anyone else.
Desiré Dunmire
Bridesmaid
Freely leaning on one another for love and support, Desiré and Marissa went from acquaintances to best friends almost instantly. That friendship has only strengthened with time- having every time they see each other be their new favorite memories. Marissa stood as a bridesmaid at Desiré's wedding years ago, and is so excited that Desiré will do the same.

Being Marissa's brother-in-law instantly formed a friendship between Carder and Daren, as they share the questionable decision of marrying into the family. The more time they spent together, the more they appreciated the similarities within each other, like the diligent work ethic they both share. Carder feels blessed to share this day with Daren.
