Our love story written by the perspective of the Bride: We are going to take this story way back in time. A time where I wrote in my diary about my crushes and Braydon being one of them. We shared the same hallways in middle school through graduating high school, with our paths crossing in fleeting moments. We briefly dated a couple times throughout these years and while they were brief they left an undeniable mark on my heart. Years went by, and life took us on different journeys. It wasn’t until Braydon returned home for winter break from college that fate intervened. Our mutual friend, Darnyl, sent out birthday invites on Facebook. Me and my girlfriends were so excited for the chance to go out in Columbus. Little did I know, this party would spark a reunion that would change everything. As we were walking around the crowded bar our eyes met across the room, and it was if time had stood still. We spent the night dancing, laughing, and discovering how much we had both grown. It was a night filed with magic and it sparked our journey together. Braydon went back to college and I went on with my life but every time he was in town we had to hang out. We did not rush into anything and it became so natural to fall right into each other’s lives. Now, as we prepare to celebrate our wedding and a decade of love and friendship, I can’t help but feel grateful for the journey that brought us back together. Everyone deserves a love like this.
