Shuttle for Welcome Party

The shuttle will pick from Borgo San Luigi hotel at 6pm with an arrival at Borgo Stomennano before 6:30pm. There is only one shuttle, so please do not miss it. The shuttle will depart to head back to the main hotel at 9:00pm.

Shuttle for Wedding Day
June 3, 2025 4:30 pm - 1:00 am
The shuttle will pick up from the main hotel of Borgo San Luigi at 4:00pm to arrive at the wedding venue before 5pm. There is only one bus so please do not be late. The bus will depart back to Borgo San Luigi following the reception. *If you plan to leave earlier in the night, you may want to secure other means of transportation.

Shuttle for the Pool Party
June 4, 2025 11:30 am - 3:00 pm
A shuttle will be picking up from the main guest hotel of Borgo San Luigi at 11:30 am and bringing guests to the pool party at the venue. There will only be one bus so please do not be late. The bus will depart to head back to the hotel at the end of the pool party at 3pm.

You can obtain one for $20 from AAA (members and non-members). See https://www.aaa.com/vacation/idpf.html for more info. NOTE: only locals are allowed to drive within certain areas of Florence and in the towns of Tuscany. Without the special permit, you can be fined if stopped. Visitors are only allowed to park in certain areas as well. Please familiarize yourself with the restrictions if you plan to rent a car. Train system: If taking a train for all or part of your travels, you can get from the Florence airport (FLR) to the main train station in Florence - Santa Maria Novella (SMN). From SMN you can take a regional train to another station. NOTE: Ubers are not readily available in this region of Italy. While there may be Uber Black services available, we don’t recommend relying on this as your mode of transportation as they may not be timely.

For the wedding day, there will also be shuttles taking guests to and from this hotel to make transportation seamless for guests.

Florence Airport (FLR)
The closest airport to the venue is the Florence (FLR) airport. The venue is in the neighboring city of Siena, about a 45 minute drive from the city of Florence.

Milan - Malpensa Airport
Another option for flights may be the Malpensa airport in Milan. Some guests have found cheaper flight options through this airport. NOTE: It is about a two hour train ride from Milan to Florence, however, the train rides in Italy are fairly simple to navigate and usually pretty cheap so this may be a great budget friendly option!
