They explored Europe’s cobblestone streets, toasted in Napa and Paso Robles, cheered at sports games from hockey to football, and relaxed on California’s beautiful beaches. Their shared love for food, family, scenic views, and their Jewish faith made them inseparable. On a trip to Córdoba, Spain, they both felt it in their hearts—they had found their beshert. This feeling only grew stronger, and Ben knew he wanted to make it official in the most meaningful way. On a private beach in Malibu, with the calming waves of the ocean—the place where Marissa feels happiest—Ben got down on one knee and asked Marissa to spend forever with him.
