Our story began in December 2017 when mutual friends introduced us fire side while enjoying a brew. Times were busy for both of us, I was in PA school and Ben was working and coaching basketball, however we found time and got to know each other. That summer we enjoyed camping, going to baseball games, spending time on the lake, and with each others families. Ben made it official at Lake Missaukee while we were enjoying ice cream from The Tasty Treat. I finally graduated PA school in December 2018 and was working by the first of the year. We decided to expand our family in May with Mylee, our yellow lab. She added a fun dynamic to our relationship and showed us how well we worked together. In October 2019 we all moved into our first home together. Mylee loved her new home, but needed someone to keep her company. We welcomed her new sister, Lucee, a black lab into the family December 2019.

Ben proposed at the lighthouse out Old Mission Peninsula a spot where we would enjoy spending time with each other along with being the location of our first date. We finished the night with the best dinner and champagne at The Boathouse.
